At the end of 2009, the Australian Branch of RTF agreed to sponsor the translation and publication of The Planting and Development of Missionary Churches, by John L Nevius. This was and first published in English in Shanghai in 1886 and led to a major rethink of Western missionary methods in China. RTF workers in China have advised us that they believe this book to be relevant to the Chinese Church in the twenty-first century.

Throughout 2010 Lorna Chao has persevered with the work of translating this book. Pray for her as she continues this work to completion. Praise God that the money needed to print and distribute the book in China (almost Au$10,000) has been raised. We look forward to printing and distributing it in 2011.
